Someday Home

Someday Home by Lauraine Snelling is a contemporary Christian novel based on the house sharing adventures of three women.

Marlynn “Lynn” Lundberg lives alone in a big family home in Lake Barnett, Minnesota. She’s still mourning the death of her husband, Paul, but knows she can’t continue in the family home unless something drastic changes. During a doctor’s visit, where she finds she’s going through menopause, her Dr. suggests she look into house sharing, Lynn decides to check into both online. Realizing from her research that she is not losing her mind and that she may be able to stay in the house, Lynn resolves to find two other like-minded women.

As Someday Home progresses, readers become more and more invested in Lynn’s life. We begin to cheer for all three women as they each face their own unique sets of problems. As the three women learn to adapt to each other’s idiosyncrasies, they also begin to lean on each other for scriptural and spiritual knowledge and growth.

Miss Snelling has written a compelling, thought-provoking novel abounding with angst, anger and despair, but also a story brimming with hope, optimism and overall, faith. A truly heartwarming, inspirational and uplifting novel, Someday Home is a tale you don’t want to miss.

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
